To provide exceptional home care that enriches the lives of our clients and provides peace of mind for their families.
One of our basic needs as humans is social interaction and companionship. That doesn’t change when we get older. It’s just as important for the elderly, yet harder to achieve as activities like going out to see friends become more difficult. Companion care provides companionship and other non-medical services.
As people get older, they may find
that they no longer adhere to the personal care routines they’ve maintained over the years. It may be because they have difficulty getting in and out of the shower or tub safely. Perhaps they can’t reach up to wash their hair or distinguish one product from the other. This is where our in-home care services can help, our caregivers can assist seniors with maintaining personal hygiene, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming. We offer compassionate, dignified help with personal aspects of daily living.
Living in a clean and organized home is important to anyone’s health and well-being, especially for seniors who spend most of their time at home. Just as having a clean and neat personal appearance is a good health habit, so is having a clean and neat home. This is especially true for the seniors who may struggle with keeping up with day to day home maintenance, laundry tends to pile up and becomes an overwhelming task. Laundry and housekeeping assistance is one way to provide the help seniors need to keep up their personal space and appearance.
Seniors are faced with the reality of taking multiple medications daily, and it’s not always easy to follow the doctor-prescribed schedule. For the elderly, forgetting to take medication is a common concern, but it shouldn’t be a point of stress. Having someone to assist you or your loved one with medication reminders allows for maintaining health and wellness, which is our ultimate goal!
Meal preparation along with eating healthy and nutritional food is such an important part of staying well, especially for seniors. Good food, on a regular and consistent schedule is necessary for emotional and physical health. For older individuals living alone, keeping track of what and when to eat can be a complicated task. Never mind having to prepare, cook, and clean up afterward. If you or a loved one are struggling with meal preparation or clean up, our home care services can help.
Mental exercise is extremely important for the health and well-being of aging people. Just as the body needs physical exercise to keep fit, the brain needs mental exercise to stay sharp. Game exercises and activities help stimulate the brain, and provide long-lasting positive effects regarding reasoning skills, memory, and processing speed.
The time you have with your family is special. It’s important to cherish the time you have with each other, which can be difficult to do when you’re the sole caregiver. Respite care is flexible and provides short-term relief for primary caregivers, giving them time
to rest, travel, or spend time with other family and friends. With no long-term contracts and caregivers available for just a few hours to a couple of months, we are here to help you.
The knowledge, resources and emotional strength required to care for a loved one at this time of their life can be overwhelming. Having an experienced caregiver support you and your loved one can set your mind at ease. We offer care for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other neurocognitive disorders.
